Pretty sure giving advice is not my thing, nor am I experienced enough to give good ones. But there are things that I have learned, and would like to share.
- You can choose how you feel, most of the times. Agreed that there are some factors that need to be controlled, though most of the times they can be.
- Your body is very good in healing and adapting to things, so let it take it’s time. I always wait and observe my body for a few days before seeking medical help (this is for day-to-day incidents of course, near-fatal accidents or incidents should be reported immediately).
- Leaving aside people living in poverty and inhumane conditions, almost everyone has more freedom today than ever, just their priorities are different.
- Eating less and more “natural” food and constanly keeping your body in motion maybe the simplest trick to live a long life.
- Almost every product, aside from some very obvious medical breakthroughs, can be done without. Marketing agencies are better than we give them credit for.
- Humans have not evolved to take in information at the rate we do today, hence we would always have a wildly inaccurate view of how the world is. Anyone saying otherwise is either lying or is very self-centered.
- Living in a tight knit society/community is the best thing one can do for their health. I whole-heartedly reject the notion of leaving ones family for “better oppurtunities”. The only reason one should do it is to give back to the society and nothing more.
